| 新医科是新时期中医药工作的发展方向，“大国计、大民生、大学科、大专业”的人才培养定位要求高等中医院校必须探讨更符合时代背景的中医拔尖人才培养模式，切实解决中医学生不熟悉经典、不会实践操作、不了解科研、难以面对患者等问题。本文以湖南中医药大学为例，从经典教学、实训课程、创新科研、伦理教育等角度重点探索新医科背景下中医拔尖人才培养模式，力求为中医拔尖人才培养提供新思路，助力新时代中医的继承发展、守正创新。 |

| Cultivation model of top talents in Chinese medicine under the background of New Medical Science: A case study of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine |

| Abstract: |
| New Medical Science represents the development direction of Chinese medicine in the new era. Its position in talent cultivation has been assigned as "a great national plan, an essential aspect of people's livelihood, comprehensive disciplines, and an interdisciplinary major", which requires higher institutions of Chinese medicine to explore a model for cultivating top talents in Chinese medicine that is more in line with the background of the times, and to effectively solve the problems of Chinese medicine students such as unfamiliarity with TCM classics, lack of practice skills, ignorance of scientific research, and difficulty in communication with patients. Taking Hunan University of Chinese Medicine as an example, this paper focuses on exploring the cultivation mode of top talents in Chinese medicine under the background of New Medical Science from the perspectives of teaching of TCM classics, practical training courses, scientific research innovation, and ethical education, aiming to provide new ideas for the cultivation of such talents and contribute to the inheritance, development, adherence to tradition, and innovation of Chinese medicine in the new era. |
