About Journal
Journal of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine (formerly known as Journal of Hunan College of Chinese Medicine) was founded in 1979. It is an academic publication on traditional Chinese medicine, western medicine, and the combination of Chinese and western medicine, sponsored by Hunan University of Chinese Medicine and governed by the Education Department of Hunan Province. It reports on the latest academic achievements of medical research, treatment, and education in this discipline at home and abroad.
This journal is included as a statistical source journal by Institute of Scientific and Technological Information of China for consecutive years. It has won the National Award of Excellent University Journals, the National Excellent Editing Quality Award for University Journals, and the title of "Top Ten Science and Technology Journals" in Hunan Province. It has also been included in "China Science and Technology Core Journal Database", "China Core Journal (Selection) Database", "Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database", "RCCSE China Core (Extended Edition) Database", "Chemical Abstracts (US)", "Japanese Science and Technology Agency (JST) Source Journal", and "Chaoxing Domain Publishing". In 2019, it joined the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Alliance Journal.
Nowadays the overall evaluation of this journal is at the forefront of national traditional Chinese medicine journals. This journal is published each month. The columns include Masters of Chinese Medicine, Experimental Research, Clinical Research, Acupuncture and Massage, Digital Medicine, Theoretical Discussion, and Review. Submissions from scholars are welcomed.
