| 湖南中医院药大学针灸推拿学院原名针灸系，成立于1988年，2006年更名为针灸推拿学院，是一个以教学为主体，集科研开发、临床诊疗、社会服务于一体的学科发展基地，承担着为全国和海外培养博士、硕士、七年制本硕连读、学士、专科、国际针灸推拿培训、职业技能培训鉴定等多层次针灸推拿专业人才和康复治疗专业人才的任务。针灸推拿学专业是我院专业之一，经过三十年的专业建设和发展，在教育教学、科研创新、人才培养、社会服务等方面都取得了丰硕的成果和业绩。 |

| Abstract: |
| The School of Acupuncture, Moxibustion & Tuina of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine was established in 1988 with an original name of Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and renamed School of Acupuncture, Moxibustion & Tuina in 2006. It is a disciplinary development base with teaching and training as its main task, and scientific research and development, clinical diagnosis and treatment, and social service as its integral parts. It undertakes the task to train multiple-level talents in acupuncture, moxibustion, and massage as well as rehabilitation treatment for Chinese and overseas institutions; it provides diplomas for doctors, masters, bachelors, and junior college students, as well as students from seven-year combined bachelor' and master's program; meanwhile, it also provides training in international acupuncture, moxibustion, and massage as well as vocational skills training and certification. As one of the specialties in our school, the specialty of acupuncture, moxibustion, and massage has been developing for 30 years since its setting up with fruitful results achieved in the aspects of education and teaching, scientific research and innovation, talent training, and social service. |
