| 中医药作为防病治病的重要手段，为人们所熟悉、所推崇。然而，中医药的政治功能却被人忽略。在当代中国，中医药具有四大政治功能：中医药是中华优秀传统文化教育的重要内容，是爱国主义教育的重要载体，是加强国际交流的工具，是大国地位的体现。在全面建成小康社会的决胜阶段，中医院校要充分发掘中医药的四大政治功能，勇担繁荣发展中医院校哲学社会科学使命。 |

| Abstract: |
| People are familiar with and respected Chinese medicine as an important means of disease prevention and treatment. However, the political function of traditional Chinese medicine has been ignored. In contemporary China, Chinese medicine has four major political functions:Chinese medicine is an important part of traditional Chinese culture and education, it is an important carrier of patriotism education, it is a tool to strengthen the international exchange, it is the embodiment of the status of great power. In the construction of comprehensive well-off society stage, traditional Chinese medicine universities should fully explore the four major political functions of traditional Chinese medicine, and play the key action on the prosperity and development of philosophy and social sciences. |
