| 基于“脑神”理论，唐启盛教授提出“脑神被扰”是痫病发生的关键病机，认为“痰气扰动，侵袭脑髓，导致脑神失养”是其发病的关键环节。风痰上扰“脑神”为其核心病机，治疗上以息风化痰安神为法。临证时强调首辨癫、狂、痫之异，遣方时依据五脏苦欲补泻理论，注重调补肾元，并擅用芳香类使药与金石类药物调复被扰“脑神”，扶正祛邪、攻补兼施；后期采用汤丸序贯疗法，效如桴鼓。 |

| Based on the theory of "brain spirit," Professor TANG Qisheng has proposed that "disturbance of the brain spirit" is the key to the occurrence of epilepsy. He identifies "phlegm-qi agitation invading the brain marrow, leading to malnutrition of the brain spirit" as the critical pathological link. The core pathogenesis involves upward disturbance of the brain spirit by wind-phlegm, and the treatment approach focuses on extinguishing wind, resolving phlegm, and calming the mind. In clinical practice, Professor TANG emphasizes the primary differentiation among depression, mania, and epilepsy. When formulating prescriptions, he applies the theory of the five zang-organs' desires and aversions for tonification and reduction, focusing on regulating and replenishing kidney essence. He skillfully employs aromatic guide medicines and mineral-based substances to regulate the disturbed brain spirit, thereby strengthening healthy qi and eliminating pathogenic factors through a combination of reinforcement and elimination. In the later stages, sequential decoction-pill therapy was adopted, with clinical response being immediate and pronounced. |
