| 中医药术语是中医药知识体系的核心载体，具有极强的专业性和深厚的文化内涵。中医药术语的准确翻译对促进中医药的国际交流与传播具有重要意义。本研究运用ChatGPT和DeepSeek大模型探讨人工智能在中医药术语翻译中的应用效果，采用人工评估方法，依据世界卫生组织WHO术语翻译基本原则和策略，主要包括准确简洁反映术语、争取概念对等、适当使用生物医学术语、采用合适的翻译策略等方面对翻译结果进行评价。通过交互性测试实验进一步探索人机协作的有效模式，总结ChatGPT和DeepSeek在中医药术语翻译中的优势和不足，并提出注重人工智能交互性、增强跨学科合作与学习、加强术语统一及标准化等建议，以期更好地推动人工智能技术在中医药术语翻译中的应用及中医药文化在国际上的传播和交流。 |

| Abstract: |
| TCM terminology serves as the core carrier of the TCM knowledge system, characterized by strong professionalism and profound cultural connotations. Accurate translation of TCM terminology plays a pivotal role in facilitating international communication and dissemination of TCM. This paper explores the effectiveness of artificial intelligence（AI）applications in translating TCM terminology using large language models of ChatGPT and DeepSeek. An expert-based evaluation was conducted to assess the translation outcomes according to the World Health Organization（WHO） principles and strategies for terminology translation, focusing on key aspects such as accuracy and conciseness, conceptual equivalence, appropriate use of biomedical terminology, and adoption of proper translation strategies. An interactive testing experiment was also employed to further explore effective models of human-AI collaboration. The paper summarizes the strengths and limitations of ChatGPT and DeepSeek in TCM terminology translation and also proposes recommendations such as enhancing human-AI interaction, strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration and learning, and promoting terminology unification and standardization. The aim is to better promote the application of AI technology in TCM terminology translation and advance the global dissemination and exchange of TCM culture. |
